Achievers Gymnastics Boys Team Compete at Black Jack Invitational

Fourteen boys had 66 top 10 placements and five, 1st place finishes 

DENTON, TEXAS – Gymnasts from Achievers Gymnastics Center’s Boys Gymnastics team competed in the 2019 Black Jack Invitational held at the South Point Hotel Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 15-17, 2019. More than 1000 athletes from across the nation attended the competition over the weekend. Many of Achievers’ gymnasts placed at or near the top of the competition.

The Achievers boys’ gymnastics team will continue their competition season this coming weekend at the Friends of Achievers Invitational held at Swisher Courts in South Lake, Texas on February 23-24, 2019.

RESULTS:

Level 4: Individual

Division 1 – 6/7-years old:

Xander Brage – Denton, Texas –Floor 8th

Pommel Horse 6th, Rings 1st, Vault 1st, Parallel Bars 4th,

Horizontal Bar 1st, - All Around 3rd

Niklas Brage – Denton, Texas – Floor 8th, Vault 10th, Parallel Bars 4th, Horizontal Bar 9th, All Around 9th

Division 1 – 8-Year-olds:

James Davenport – Trophy Club, Texas – Pommel Horse 3rd, Rings 3rd, Vault 5th, Parallel Bars 5th, Horizontal Bar 3rd, All Around 5th

Level 5: Individual 

Division 2 – 11+-year-old:

Wyatt Morin – Denton, Texas – Floor 3rd, Pommel Horse 3rd, Rings 3rd, Vault5th, Parallel Bars 1st, Horizontal Bar 5th, All Around 2nd
