DENTON, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center competed in the Texas, Level 7 State Championships held at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen, Texas, on April 7-8, 2018.
Maddison Justice from Denton, earned Silver Medals on the Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise in Level 7 Sr. C4 age division. Justice also took home the Bronze in the All-Around competition. Kaden Weatherly from Sanger, took home the Bronze Medal on Balance Beam in Level 7 Jr. B4 age division. Erika Gustafson from Denton placed 5th on Bars in Level 7 Sr. A4 age division. Juliana Paiva from Corinth, placed 7th on Bars and Beam in Level 7 Sr. B4 age division at this highly competitive State Championships.
Also, Justice and Weatherly qualified to the Region 3 Level 7 Regional Championships to be held at The University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri, on April 27-29, 2018. Region 3, in USA Gymnastics, is comprised of the top qualified gymnasts from seven states; Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Texas. The Regional Championships is the culminating competition for USA Gymnasts competing at this level.

Level 7 Sr. B4 division:
Juliana Paiva, from Corinth, 7th on Uneven Bars and Balance Beam, 8th All Around.
Level 7 Sr. A4 division:
Erika Gustafson, from Denton, 5th on Bars, 9th on Balance Beam and All Around.
Level 7 Jr. B4 division:
